I AM AN ARTIST FIRST. My actions are driven by the creative process. It starts with problem solving through creative thinking, the application follows the resolution of thought. I served as a Kansas Arts Commissioner for Governor Graves and Governor Sebelius for a combination of 7 years, served as a Coin Commissioner for the development of the Kansas commemorative state quarter, consulted for art in public places with Architects & Engineers on a 1% budget for the City of Wichita's Development projects, and I served on the City Manager’s Aesthetic Review team for Mayor, Chris Churches. I have volunteered on various boards and community service organizations where I have found the process of creative thinking can enhance the multitude of thought.
